eric clapton'ın crossroads 2010'da söylediği versiyonu efsanedir.

1973'te piyasaya sürülen ''burnin''' adlı bob marley and the wailers albümünün en ciks şarkılarından...

eric clapton da hemen bir sene sonrasında, 461 ocean boulevard albümünde yorumlamış ve her iki sanatçı da yıllarca, iyi ekmeğini yemiştir bu şarkının.
clapton özellikle, gerek 70'li gerek 80, 90.. hatta 2000'li yıllar boyunca...
her çağa, döneme ve tarza uygun olarak ayrı ayrı yorumlamış ve en nihayetinde 2010 senesinde de, bir crossroads festivalinde, zirve performansını göstererek, ''sonunda başardım'' diyecek noktaya erişmiştir.

bob marley ise o kadar şanslı değildi ne yazık ki.
kendisi, 1981 yılında vefat etti, düşünün!
tek bir albüm kaydı ve birkaç tane de konser kaydı var işte günümüze kalan.
albüm kaydı muazzam kalitede gerçekten... o kadar değerli ki, norveç'te, olası bir kıyamet senaryosunda tohum ambarı olarak kullanılan depo var ya... müzik eserleri için de böyle bir yapı yapılmalı ve bu şarkı da, mutlaka orada yer almalı.
